The Music Soundbox also has a powerful 4W speaker and a voice overlay feature that enables the merchant to hear payment notifications over the music being played.
Both devices are 4G enabled and come with a subscription model. The rent for the Pocket Soundbox is INR 1 to INR 150, depending on the merchant, and the rent for the Music Soundbox is INR 50 to INR 250, depending on the merchant.
Paytm says that these devices will be especially useful for merchants who are on the go, such as auto rickshaw drivers, delivery agents, and street vendors. The devices will help these merchants to accept payments more conveniently and efficiently.
