Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath flagged off the first IndiGo Airlines flight connecting Lucknow and Varanasi on Thursday, August 10, 2023. The flight will operate three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
The flight will take just 70 minutes to travel between the two cities, which is a significant reduction from the previous travel time of over two hours.
