Reliance Industries has maintained its numero uno position within India Inc, jumping 16 places in Fortune's Global 500. The company is now ranked at number 88, up from 104 last year. This is the second consecutive year that Reliance has improved its ranking in the Fortune Global 500.
The company's revenue for the fiscal year 2022-23 was $109.5 billion, up 16.5% from the previous year. Its profits were $8.3 billion, up 1.9%. Reliance's strong performance is being driven by its diversified businesses, which include oil and gas, retail, telecommunications, and digital services.
