Ambareesh Murty, one of the co-founders of Pepperfry, died on August 7, 2023, after suffering a cardiac arrest during a bike trip in Leh. He was 42 years old.
Murty was a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and the Indian School of Business. He co-founded Pepperfry in 2006 with Rahul Garg and Ashish Shah. The company is an online furniture and home décor retailer.
